Our client is a successful technology-focused company based in Runcorn, they design develop and sell advanced controls for lighting and fuel retailing.

Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to underpin their continued success and future expansion.

Operations Manager Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will manage key aspects of the company’s operations and will have the chance to develop the role into a key success driver within a fast-growing company. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining flow of sales pipeline information and managing sales order fulfilment process.
  • Managing  the supply chain and stock, and managing cash flow forecast (with accounts dept)
  • Driving process and product improvements and managing new product introductions.
  • Regularly reporting KPIs to management

Experience and Qualification Requirements   

  • Qualified to a minimum of A Level standard (degree preferred)
  • Experience in a sales and operations planning role (S&OP) and/or MRP / ERP within a manufacturing or assembly environment (preferably in a technology-based company)

Personal Qualities

  • Able to work accurately to tight deadlines
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Analytical mind
  • Experienced computer user comfortable with ERP, CRM and Excel 
  • Disciplined and self-motivated, persistent but polite
  • Can delegate within a small team, manage colleagues and suppliers effectively and has an empathetic personality
