A Sector Development Manager is required for this independent foodservice company, responsible for delivering growth from the Care or Education Sector.

In this fast-paced role, no two days are the same their ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything they do and to do this you will need to be good at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions to keep them happy.
About the job
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable business growth from the Care or Education Sector, whilst identifying and supporting the development of our new business strategy. To understand and influence what effective food solutions would be for customers, whilst working with the management team to deliver our proposition.
You must bring a real passion with excellent selling skills, and a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets and can demonstrate a personal attainment of £750k of new business from these sectors. You will also aid the business in developing a range for the sectors.
You will need to be a strong communicator at all levels with a flexible approach that demonstrates your ability to develop relationships with clients of different cultures and with different needs. This will also show us your ability to work just as easily on your own or as part of a mobile team, freely sharing your skills and knowledge.
And lastly you need to be comfortable with a lot of driving with occasional overnight stays away from home will also be required.
