The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind managing the day-to-day operations of a key account, ensuring project delivery, client satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the existing Account Manager to gain an understanding of the client, products, and internal processes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining regular communication and managing expectations
  • Coordinate between clients, internal manufacturing teams, suppliers, and external partners
  • Oversee projects from initial enquiry through to successful delivery and installation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely progress and delivery
  • Handle client briefings and ensure all project specifications are relayed accurately to the internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements for client documentation
  • Provide detailed reports to senior management about project pipelines and sales forecasts
  • Create and maintain project-related documents, spreadsheets, and control sheets
  • Work closely with departments such as estimating, procurement, and production for seamless project execution

The Ideal Candidate

You’re a detail-oriented professional with a passion for client management and project delivery. You thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at coordinating between teams to achieve exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Account or Client Management roles
  • Ability to interpret technical/manufacturing drawings
  • Background in metal or joinery manufacturing (preferred)
  • Strong administrative, planning, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Collaborative team player with exceptional diligence and attention to detail
  • Minimum GCSE grade C in English and Mathematics
