About the Role:

As a Semi Senior Accountant at our client's firm, you will play a vital role in helping to deliver top-quality accountancy services to our clients. You will be responsible for various financial tasks and ensuring our clients receive excellent support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with clients – this is a firm that takes great pride in giving excellent customer service
  • Prepare financial statements and reports using accounting software (TaxCalc)
  • Assist clients with payroll obligations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Liaise with various members of the team, providing information to relevant parties as well as seeking guidance and support from them too  

Working Hours:

The office is open from 08:30 – 17:30 Mondays to Thursdays and the office closes at 13:00 on Fridays – so long as you can fit your 35 hours into these times, our client can accommodate that for you!  

The Ideal Candidate:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Semi Senior Accountant with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, including Sage, Xero, Quickbooks
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous, but not essential
