The Mortgage Home is a reputable firm of mortgage, protection, and general insurance advisers based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. We provide whole-of-market advice to individuals and companies across the UK, specializing in the buy-to-let sector.

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the team
  • Manage phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Assist with customer service tasks, including answering queries and providing information
  • Maintain and update client records in our database
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Liaising with with Mortgage lenders/estate agents/solicitors to progress applications
  • Supporting Advisers with processing of applications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
