The Role

We are seeking a calm, organised, and supportive Assistant Exams Manager to join our College site from October/November 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate GCSE, BTEC, and other examination timetables
  • Oversee invigilation processes, recruit and train invigilators
  • Ensure compliance with JCQ regulations and school policies
  • Organise reasonable adjustments and access arrangements
  • Liaise with exam boards, universities, and teaching staff
  • Manage secure storage and distribution of exam papers and results
  • Produce seating plans, room allocations, and exam resources
  • Support with exam entries, results days, and enquiries/remark requests

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a highly organised professional with excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience supporting or managing examinations in an educational setting is highly desirable. About you:

  • Strong IT and data management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
