Bradford, BD9

  • 32.5 hours per week, term time only + 2 days
  • Permanent position starting January 2025
  • NJC Scale 6, points 19 to 22 - £23,223 to £24,724 per annum

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring continuity for students in cases of Teacher absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task
  • Provide assistance to students with set activities and respond to their questions
  • Maintain classroom order and manage student behaviour effectively
  • Support teachers with lesson planning, record-keeping, and resource preparation
  • Promote inclusivity and encourage student engagement in the classroom
  • Assist with pastoral duties, helping students navigate challenges and succeed

St Bede’s and St Joseph’s Catholic College is a two-site College – role holder should be aware that you may be asked to work on either site.

  • Hold at least GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) and have relevant experience
