The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes in the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences
Maintain good order and ensure students stay on task with pre-prepared work
Support students in their learning by answering questions and guiding them through set tasks
Assist in lesson planning, preparation of resources, and marking where required
Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour to teachers
Support students with their individual learning needs, including those with additional educational requirements
Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies
Assist in administrative duties, including record-keeping and coursework management
Participate in school trips, events, and extracurricular activities

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications
Computer literacy and a willingness to undertake First Aid training
