They are now looking for an experienced Lawyer who can take a senior role in the firm and help drive its development.

The Role

As a commercially driven Criminal Defence Solicitor with 2 or 3 years PQE, this is an exciting time to join a busy criminal law team and take the lead on meaningful cases, advocate for clients, and develop others within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on a range of criminal matters
Prepare and manage case files from initial interview to court resolution
Liaise with police, counsel, expert witnesses, and other third parties
Draft legal documents and maintain accurate client records
Ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements and firm procedures
Contribute to team management, meetings, training, and departmental growth

The Ideal Candidate:

You’ll be a confident solicitor with a solid background in criminal defence, commercial awareness, a commitment to fairness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A client-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills are essential. About you:

2–3 years PQE in criminal defence
Police Station Accreditation (preferred)
Strong advocacy and case management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred
