  • Location – Picket Piece Commercial Centre, Andover, Hampshire SP11 6BE  
  • Yearly salary - £ 26,000 to £30,000 p.a. DOE 
  • Employment type - Full-time, Perm 
  • Role flexibility – Office based  
  • Working hours - 40 hrs per week - 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday 
  • Reporting to – Customer Service Manager 

About the Role  

We are looking for a proactive and organised Customer Service and Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless customer experiences and smooth service operations, ensuring professional and friendly interactions with both suppliers and customers. You should have proven experience in a Customer Service role, ideally within the Wholesale Catering Equipment sector, with a background in engineering or service technician work. However, we are open to candidates with experience from other sectors as well. 

We are looking for a collaborative individual who thrives in a team environment, while also being accountable and dependable in managing your own responsibilities. 

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Accurately process orders, manage backorders, and create purchase orders (POs) for third-party suppliers as needed.  
  • Working closely with both customers and transportation providers to resolve delivery issues, including managing cases of product damage.  
  • Dispatch spare parts to customers and service teams efficiently. 
  • Responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses. 
  • Provide responsive support to service customers, assigning engineers to jobs and overseeing processes to completion. 

Ideal Candidate  

  • Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a background in engineering or service technician work 
  • Proven experience within a Customer Service role 
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, CRM, and other IT systems. 
  • Friendly, and approachable, with a superb telephone manner. 
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail. 
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving service/delivery issues. 
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. 
  • A great communicator and well organised.  
  • Punctual, consistent, and committed to delivering high-quality results. 

About the Company

We are a leading supplier of high-quality products for the hospitality, catering, and retail sectors. We offer a wide range of Commercial items, from refrigeration to laundry. We are a trade-only, supplier based in Andover, Hampshire. Although we don’t sell directly to end users, we do offer a ‘drop-shipping’ service to our customers. 

We are passionate about providing excellent service and value to our customers -always looking for innovative ways to improve our operations and meet the changing needs of our customers.  

The business is a small, yet growing company and we currently have approx. 20 members of staff - we are a very friendly team with low staff turnover.

We have changed massively over the past couple of years. We have invested heavily in technology with the aim of making growth easier. We have a 3-year growth plan in place and need to get our foundations strong for this to be a success.
