Monday – Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm with two 30-minute breaks)
£20 - £21 per hour

With over 30 years of experience, they provide high-quality, flexible building services to Local Authorities, Block Management Companies, Surveyors and homeowners. Their trusted team includes SMSTS Site Supervisors, Multi-skilled Builders, Carpenters, Fencers and Decorators, all working together to deliver reliable workmanship across the region.

The Role

You’ll be working on local council contracts, delivering high-standard painting and decorating services to public buildings such as schools. This is a hands-on, skilled role where your craftsmanship and professionalism will really matter.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all internal and external painting and decorating work
Work on sites for Portsmouth City Council, Fareham Council, Eastleigh Council and Hampshire County Council
Maintain cleanliness and safety on site
Use your own tools and transport to travel between job sites
Start work promptly at 7:30am and finish at 4:30pm

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for reliable, professional decorators with a strong work ethic and excellent finishing skills. About you:

Experience in painting and decorating
Enhanced CRB/DBS check (mandatory – no access to sites without it)
Your own transport
Full set of decorating tools
A good eye for detail and a tidy, professional approach
Strong timekeeping and communication skills
Experience working in schools or public buildings (advantageous)
