Our client is a rapidly expanding company committed to providing safe and reliable access to medications across various healthcare settings. They work with NHS Trusts, Unscheduled Care, and Primary Care, primarily serving Community and Mental Health Trusts from their network of pharmacies and WDA-licensed premises in London, Gloucester, and the West Midlands.

As they establish a new site in Manchester, they are looking for Delivery Drivers to join the team.


The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will ensure the timely and accurate transportation of medications from their pharmacy to hospital sites across Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently deliver medications and pharmaceutical supplies to designated hospital sites
  • Verify delivery items against documentation, ensuring proper handling of all medications
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, reporting any discrepancies or issues
  • Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all deliveries
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries or concerns from hospital staff
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on delivery vehicles to ensure optimal condition

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone passionate about healthcare logistics, with a keen eye for detail and safety. You will have:

  • Full, clean driving license
  • Experience as a delivery driver, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical deliveries (desirable)
