Development & Engineering Manager
Norwich, NR5 8BF (hybrid 2 days in office per week)

Full time, Monday – Friday (9am – 5:30pm)

£55,000 - £75,000 per annum

The Role

As a Development & Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our technical strategy, leading a talented team of engineers while driving innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the engineering vision, drive innovation, and set technical standards.
Team Management: Lead and mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and manage resources.
Product Development: Oversee lifecycles, collaborate with product teams, and prioritise workloads.
Technical Architecture & Development: Maintain system architecture, oversee SaaS solutions, and contribute to coding when needed.
Quality Assurance & Release Management: Ensure high coding standards, implement CI/CD pipelines, and manage smooth software releases.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment. If you have a passion for software development, a strategic mindset, and a knack for leading high-performing teams, this role is for you! About you:

Proven experience as a senior engineering leader (6+ years)
Hands-on software engineering background (3+ years)
Strong expertise in C#.NET, ASP.NET, and Blazor
Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
Familiarity with Agile methodologies & DevOps practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Understanding of SDLC, SaaS solutions, and CI/CD pipelines
A degree in a computing-related field (preferred, but not essential)
