£28,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits Package

We are looking for a hard-working individual to work as an electrical assembly operative (ME2) in our manufacturing department.

The primary day to day duties of this role will include but not be limited to:

The assembly of the following products in accordance with established procedures, work instructions, and build manuals:

Heat treatment transformers
Heat treatment mains units
Temperature recorders
Temperature programmers
Sub-assemblies

The ideal candidate will:

Be committed to working safely
Be reliable with excellent timekeeping skills
Be highly organised with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Computer literate
Experience of working with wiring looms, panel wiring and reading of electrical drawings/diagrams would be an advantage
Holding a relevant level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage
Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing

28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays (holiday allowance increases to 30 days holiday, including bank holidays, once 5 years’ service has been completed)
