Olympic Gymnasium Services is a dedicated and close-knit team specialising in the safety inspections, maintenance, and refurbishment of PE, sports, and playground equipment across schools, playgrounds, and sports halls. About the role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll engage in a variety of tasks, from conducting safety inspections to repairing and maintaining equipment.

For those with the right experience and leadership qualities, there’s an opportunity to advance into a Supervisory Role. As a Supervisor, you’ll take on additional responsibilities, leading a team, training staff, and overseeing the quality of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer sites to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment.
Complete inspection reports, provide quotes, and source parts.
Work with colleagues to complete projects efficiently.
Liaise with customers to deliver optimal solutions.
Ensure equipment meets standards and Health and Safety regulations.

As well as the above, the supervisor will:

Lead a team on large projects, ensuring high standards and timelines.
Train and develop team members in reporting and site quality.
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and decisions.
Ensure successful completion of installations and refurbishments.

You will be required to stay away occasional week days to minimise travel and work very occasional weekends at busy periods in school holidays and half terms.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £42,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a company pension, vehicle, and opportunities for overtime. You'll enjoy 28 days of holiday, including statutory holidays, with time off during the company’s closure between Christmas and New Year.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

Practical experience in maintenance, fitting, or installation roles.
Experience with equipment inspections and reporting.
Proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to work at heights.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
A clean, valid driving license and DBS check.
Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
PASMA certification is advantageous but not required.

Supervisors will have the skills and experience to lead, train, and manage a team of engineers.
