BPC Building Products are a growing Manufacturing business based in Wakefield. We are looking for an efficient and organised FLT Driver to join our expanding team, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

BPC Building Products is a leading manufacturer of high-quality fixings and fasteners, serving the construction industry with innovative solutions. As our business grows, we are looking for a skilled FLT Driver to support our expanding warehouse operations.

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Unloading deliveries and completing necessary paperwork
Operating forklifts and reach trucks to handle large or awkwardly shaped products
Picking and preparing products for dispatch, including shrink-wrapping, banding, and labelling
Loading trucks using forklifts
Ensuring the warehouse and yard are clean and well-organised
Carrying out basic fitting work
Scanning goods in and out of the warehouse
Moving finished goods and raw materials

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and a strong team player. About you:

Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence and confident driving ability
Ability to work well in a team and promote a positive team attitude
Good oral communication skills
Strong organisational and planning skills
Adaptability and willingness to take on varied tasks
Flexibility to work overtime when required
Flexi Truck Licence (an advantage but not essential)
