Head of People & Culture
Norwich, NR5

  • Full-time or Part-time considered (between 3 – 5 days per week)
  • Circa £50,000 per annum pro rata

The Role

As Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal leadership role in designing and delivering their people strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and strengthens their values-driven, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the COO to design and implement the company’s people strategy
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations and maintain frameworks and policies
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment and talent management strategies
  • Oversee budgets and resource allocation for People & Culture initiatives
  • Manage performance review processes, leadership development and succession planning
  • Foster a learning culture through training, mentoring and coaching programmes
  • Develop and manage compensation structures, benefits and reward programmes
  • Promote a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture where employees thrive
  • Oversee employee relations, engagement initiatives and lifecycle documentation
  • Lead DEI strategy, embedding inclusivity across all HR practices
  • Anticipate People & Culture risks and manage organisational change effectively
  • Take responsibility for health, safety and well-being across the business

The Ideal Candidate

You will bring experience and confidence as a senior HR professional, with the ability to influence, inspire and drive cultural change across the business.

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Strong background in senior HR, People & Culture or equivalent leadership role
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • A trusted advisor with the ability to build effective relationships across the business
  • Innovative, curious and proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • A confident communicator, collaborator and role model for cultural leadership
