Head of People & Culture

- Full-time or Part-time considered (between 3 – 5 days per week)
- Circa £50,000 per annum pro rata

The Role
As Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal leadership role in designing and delivering their people strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and strengthens their values-driven, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the COO to design and implement the company’s people strategy
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations and maintain frameworks and policies
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment and talent management strategies
- Oversee budgets and resource allocation for People & Culture initiatives
- Manage performance review processes, leadership development and succession planning
- Foster a learning culture through training, mentoring and coaching programmes
- Develop and manage compensation structures, benefits and reward programmes
- Promote a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture where employees thrive
- Oversee employee relations, engagement initiatives and lifecycle documentation
- Lead DEI strategy, embedding inclusivity across all HR practices
- Anticipate People & Culture risks and manage organisational change effectively
- Take responsibility for health, safety and well-being across the business

The Ideal Candidate
You will bring experience and confidence as a senior HR professional, with the ability to influence, inspire and drive cultural change across the business.
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Strong background in senior HR, People & Culture or equivalent leadership role
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- A trusted advisor with the ability to build effective relationships across the business
- Innovative, curious and proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organised and detail-oriented, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- A confident communicator, collaborator and role model for cultural leadership
