St Winefride’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust, a family of 17 primary and two secondary schools committed to providing an outstanding Catholic education. Our school, a vibrant two-form entry primary with a nursery, serves a diverse and inclusive community with a workforce of over 60 staff. The Role

We are looking for an inspirational leader who will empower staff and students alike. As Head of School, you will collaborate with the Executive Head and Trust leaders to drive success, fostering an environment where every child and staff member can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and inspiring leadership, driving school improvement.
  • Empower staff through professional development and distributed leadership.
  • Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos in every aspect of school life.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning, fostering each child’s potential.
  • Oversee the safety and well-being of staff and pupils.
  • Effectively manage resources and budgets in line with school priorities.
  • Strengthen partnerships with parents, the parish, and the wider community.
