We at The Carroll Cleaning Company are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team!

  • Full time, permanent
  • £24,000 per annum

What will you be doing?

  • Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and updating HR databases
  • Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
  • Employee Relations: Assist in addressing employee queries and concerns, providing information on HR policies and procedures
  • Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and regulations by maintaining up-to-date records and assisting with audits
  • Event Coordination: Help organise company events, training sessions, and other HR-related activities
  • Data Management: Compile and analyse HR data and metrics, preparing reports as needed and perform other related duties as assigned by the HR Manager

Our ideal candidate:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with preferably 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR role. You will also have:

  • GCSE Maths and English (grade C/5 or above)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy
  • Friendly, approachable, proactive, and able to work well under pressure and in a team environment
