The Role

We’re seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded HR Business Partner to join our Manchester team. This is a newly created, pivotal position designed to support the regional Senior Leadership Team in achieving ambitious growth and culture goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver HR programmes aligned to company objectives and values
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
  • Manage and mentor HR staff, fostering their professional development
  • Provide expert HR guidance and reporting to senior leadership
  • Lead strategic planning for HR initiatives, including workforce planning and development
  • Analyse HR metrics to track performance and support decision-making
  • Represent HR at board and management meetings
  • Ensure compliance with evolving employment laws and best practices
  • Champion employee engagement and high-performance initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a confident and resourceful HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, people-first organisation. With strong leadership capabilities and a proven ability to influence at all levels, you will act as a change agent, building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. About you:

  • Is CIPD-qualified or equivalent
  • Has proven HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist experience
  • Brings a strong understanding of employment legislation and strategic HR practices
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Is analytical, commercially aware, and highly organised
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Has a coaching style with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Works well independently and collaboratively
  • Has experience within health, social care, or service-led sectors (advantageous)
