IT Support Engineer
Fleet, Hampshire

  • Full Time, Permanent (6-month probation)
  • £28,000 per annum
  • Monday–Friday between 08:30–18:00 (shift pattern)

The Role:

Labyrinth Technology Ltd is a fast-growing managed service provider (MSP) renowned for its honest, efficient approach to IT support. With over 20 years of success in London, they have recently opened their new office in Fleet, Hampshire.

They are on the lookout for a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our small, friendly team in Fleet. You’ll report directly to their CTO/COO and play a key part in their fast-paced helpdesk, delivering outstanding remote and occasional on-site support to clients across the UK.

You’ll be exposed to a wide range of technologies and have the opportunity to learn from senior IT leaders, making this a fantastic role for a motivated early-career IT professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and approachable support via phone and email
  • Log, triage, and resolve service desk tickets within agreed SLAs
  • Escalate complex issues to the 3rd Line support team
  • Support user and group admin in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
  • Maintain and administer SharePoint environments
  • Support Windows (and some Mac) systems
  • Carry out routine IT maintenance and user onboarding
  • Set up and configure new user accounts and hardware
  • Update and maintain accurate client documentation
  • Travel to client sites (fully expensed) and collaborate with the London HQ

The Ideal Candidate:

You’re an enthusiastic, detail-oriented IT professional with a passion for customer service and continuous learning. You enjoy solving problems and working across a wide variety of technologies.

  • At least 1 year’s experience in an IT support role (MSP experience desirable)
  • Knowledge of helpdesk/ticketing systems and best practices
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Windows environments
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 users and groups
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint permissions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident supporting executive-level users
  • Strong organisation and multitasking abilities
  • A full UK driving licence
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or willingness to complete within 6 months (fully funded)
