The Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a world-class calibration lab in a technician role focused on spectroscopy. You’ll be instrumental in preparing and certifying Starna’s ever-expanding range of Certified Reference Materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and certify Certified Reference Materials (CRMs)
  • Perform analytical testing using UV-Vis spectroscopy and other methods
  • Ensure accurate, traceable measurements in accordance with ISO standards
  • Maintain meticulous laboratory records and data analysis logs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and laboratory efficiency
  • Collaborate with the team on special projects and method development

The Ideal Candidate

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for scientific excellence and analytical chemistry. About you:

  • A strong academic background in Chemistry or a related science
  • Experience with spectroscopy, particularly UV-Vis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and rational decision-making abilities
