The Silver Robin restaurant at Sullivan Upper School is a key part of daily life for both the secondary and preparatory departments, serving over 550 meals per day. Sullivan Upper School is a large, well-established, co-educational voluntary grammar school located on a scenic 25-acre site in Holywood, overlooking Belfast Lough. The school prides itself on high standards, a supportive staff community, and a vibrant student body.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and proactive individual to join our lunchtime team and ensure students enjoy a safe, clean, and positive dining environment each school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise pupils in the dining areas and ensure a safe and calm lunchtime environment
Promote appropriate behaviour and intervene when necessary
Support safe and orderly movement of pupils to and from dining areas
Maintain cleanliness by clearing spillages, wiping tables, and removing litter
Ensure pupils follow procedures for food service and tray clearing
Report accidents, hazards or incidents promptly
Work collaboratively with catering staff and other lunchtime supervisors
Assist pupils as required, including younger children
Be alert to safeguarding concerns and act in line with school policies
Participate in training, meetings, and annual performance reviews
