The Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance activities across our plant, ensuring equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime. You will play a key role in developing maintenance strategies, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to address maintenance needs and production goals.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and inventory levels.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager with strong technical skills and a leadership mindset. About you:

  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role within a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automated plant operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in the agricultural sector or a solid understanding of feed production.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
