The Role

Thanks to our innovative products and great team – we now have an opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our professional Manufacturing team based in South Normanton, working a standard week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Operations Environment and Equipment: Monitor and manage to meet quality standards & schedules
  • Supervise Operations Processes: Monitor and manage the production operators to ensure products meet quality standards and schedules ensuring the effective control, flow of product around a site and delivery
  • Team Management:  Assigning tasks, monitoring attendance, guidance & training, including the development of procedures to deliver safe working practices
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the shifts to maintain smooth operations
  • Reporting: Ensuring appropriate data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion, ensuring the regular maintenance of all records to senior management
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and promote continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency and productivity


Qualifications / Experience:

  • High level of PC literacy
  • Previous experience in leading a team of people in a manufacturing or related sector
  • Experience in promoting safe working practices
  • IOSH Managing Safety or higher desirable
