Go Modern is an independent, design-led retailer of contemporary European furniture, lighting and storage solutions. Since 2006 we’ve curated collections from world-class Italian and Belgian brands such as Porada, Molteni & C, Tribù and many more. From our showroom on the Kings Road we serve both private homeowners and the design trade, shipping to clients in 70+ countries. Our passionate, close-knit team combines inhouse CAD design with first-class customer service to deliver beautiful, technically sophisticated interiors every time.

The Role

Reporting to our Managing Director, you’ll be the driving force behind day-to-day marketing content and product presentation. Working closely with our remote paid media specialist and our supplier network, you will:

  • Visualise & build engaging landing pages, content pages and single-page flyers (no coding, but a designer’s eye for layout)
  • Craft blog articles, email campaigns and social posts that speak to both B2B specifiers and style-savvy B2C shoppers
  • Own product data – creating, editing and importing ranges into Shopify and our CRM
  • Curate image libraries and Dropbox assets, ensuring everything is on-brand and searchable
  • Maintain external listings (Yell, Homes & Gardens, Pressloft) and respond to initial press enquiries
  • Plan & attend showroom events and glamorous supplier launches (occasional evenings)
  • Analyse & optimise email flows (Klaviyo) and site performance metrics
  • Liaise with suppliers to gather technical insights and convert them into compelling stories

Benefits

Join a fast-moving, design-focused business where your work makes a real impact.

  • £30,000 – £40,000 + performance bonus
  • Core hours 9:30–17:30, Monday - Friday
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Office closure between Christmas & New Year
  • Cycle parking available
  • Hybrid working after 6–9 months
  • Invitations to exclusive supplier events (London & Italy)
  • Staff discounts on all furniture and fittings
  • Opportunity to shape marketing strategy and grow with the company

The Ideal Candidate

You’re a bright, ambitious self-starter with a passion for design, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle detail with creativity. About you:

  • Experience in interiors, fitted kitchens, furniture, or lighting (not fashion, cosmetics, tiles or bathrooms)
  • Confident written and spoken communication across different audiences
  • Team spirit with a hands-on, flexible approach
  • Native-level written English (bonus: Italian or French skills)

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
  • Shopify & CMS experience (e.g. WordPress)
  • Email marketing via Klaviyo (or similar ESP)
  • Adobe Photoshop / Creative Suite

Nice-to-have:

  • GoHighLevel or HubSpot CRM
  • AI tools for content and imagery
  • Basic video editing
  • UX / CRO experience
  • Italian or French language fluency
