Media Sales Executive
Solihull, B91 3DA – Office based

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • Starting salary £26,000 per annum rising to £29,000 after 12 months.
  • Realistic OTE £40,000 (uncapped)
  • Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm, early finish Fridays)

The Role

Due to the continued success of our business, we are looking to expand our sales team by recruiting Media Sales Executives to assist our growth plans. In your role, you will be selling advertising space across B2B Chambers of Commerce and owner-led print and/or online publications, including other digital media such as e-bulletins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting new business from warm and qualified business leads already on our database
  • Establishing relationships with key decision makers across various business sectors
  • Consulting with key decision makers about the best advertising platform to grow their brand and achieve their goals
  • Building a pipeline of new and repeat business to achieve targets
  • Effectively negotiating and closing deals with clients to deliver revenue growth

Kemps Publishing occupies modern offices right in the heart of Solihull town centre which is easily accessible via road or public transport (Solihull Train/Bus Station is close by). Our standard working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, with early finishes on a Friday.

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Telesales/ Field sales) would be advantageous but is not essential as full training is provided. We review each application on its own merit
