Nursery Practitioner & EYFS Holiday Club Lead
Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 8TE

  • Full time, 42.5 hours per week (all year round)

The Role

We are looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work with children aged 2–4 years. In this role, you'll provide structured play and development opportunities. Additionally, as the EYFS Holiday Club Lead, you'll deliver a high-quality play and childcare service during holiday care for children aged 2–4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Encourage learning through play and engaging activities
  • Support children with meals, snacks, and personal hygiene
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress through observations
  • Plan and prepare activities for the classroom, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Build positive relationships with parents, discussing children's daily progress
  • Lead the EYFS Holiday Club, ensuring fun and creative activities for children during the holidays
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure compliance with safety and child protection standards

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who loves working with young children. You should be:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare
  • Experienced in an early years setting
  • Skilled in creating safe and stimulating play activities
  • A responsive team player who values collaboration
  • Committed to child welfare and safeguarding
  • Able to communicate effectively with both children and parents
