Office Administrator
Wotton-under-Edge, GL12 7AD

  • Full time, permanent
  • 8.00 – 4.30 Monday to Thursday, 8.00 – 4.00 Friday
  • £24,000 per annum

Our client provides cost-effective education technology for schools and academies. From complex school ICT network installations to the simple supply of hardware, they offer outstanding advice, robust products & trusted school IT technical support. They have contracts with schools in and around the Bristol, Gloucestershire & Wiltshire area.

They are currently recruiting an experienced Office Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis.


About the role:

The successful applicant will handle administrative tasks to support staff efficiency. This role offers a chance to join a dynamic team and contribute to our client's success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones, opening mail, and reception duties
  • Processing quotes, orders, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices in SAP
  • Managing licensing purchases and renewals
  • Handling payroll, holidays, expenses, and sick leave
  • Extracting printer meter readings and print audit data
  • Arranging vehicle servicing, MOT, and tax
  • Managing credit control and cheques
  • Overseeing personnel, including new starter paperwork, uniforms, ID badges, and safeguarding
  • Providing desk support and setting up new accounts
  • Stock control and allocation in SAP
  • Managing tech diaries and scheduling visits
  • Handling warranty repairs for customers
  • Managing workshop equipment and documentation


Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office is required
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One is preferable but not essential as training will be given
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
