About us.
At OSCA, we combine real-world automotive know-how with smart technology to move vehicle diagnostics forward. We’re a family-owned business with a supportive team culture and a modern office setup.

We specialise in virtual diagnostics and programming, supporting garages and dealerships across the UK and Europe through our online platform. Our office has a canteen, pool table, darts, and table tennis.

The role.
This is an off-the-tools role, but it is not an entry-level job. The key thing we need is strong, hands-on diagnostic tool experience from the workshop.

PSA Group tooling experience is essential, especially DiagBox, used on Peugeot, Citroën, and Vauxhall (Stellantis) vehicles.

You’ll support garages and technicians remotely through our online platform, helping them diagnose faults, follow test plans, and get repairs right first time.

Key responsibilities.

  • Carry out in-depth remote diagnostics using dealer-level tools and live data.
  • Use DiagBox on Peugeot, Citroën, and Vauxhall (Stellantis) vehicles to identify faults and guide repair steps.
  • Support technicians by chat, email, and phone with clear, practical advice.
  • Help customers work through fault codes, test plans, ECU functions, and system checks.
  • Carry out programming tasks where relevant to your experience and tooling (for example modules and keys).
  • Keep up to date with new systems, updates, and diagnostic methods.

Skills and experience.

  • Solid hands-on experience using diagnostic tools in a workshop environment.
  • Practical experience with dealer-level diagnostic equipment used to diagnose and repair vehicles.
  • Current or recent experience using DiagBox (PSA Group) is essential.
  • Strong fault-finding ability across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Confident talking through diagnostics and repair steps with other technicians.
  • NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or equivalent is preferred, but time-served experience is also valued.
  • Comfortable working at pace and staying organised in an office-based role.

Benefits.

  • Salary circa £40,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience).
  • 30 days’ holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service.
  • No weekend working.
  • Training, development, and certification opportunities.
  • Supportive, tech-driven team environment.
  • Modern office with canteen, pool table, darts and table tennis.

How to apply for the role.
If you’ve got strong dealer-level diagnostic experience and you know your way around DiagBox, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to join OSCA.

You must be authorised to work in the UK. No agencies please.

This role may suit a diagnostic technician, vehicle technician, automotive technician, technical support technician, remote diagnostic technician, or master technician, as long as you have strong hands-on tool experience, especially DiagBox.
