Sales Advisor – Construction and Landscaping Industry
Walton-on-Thames, KT12

  • Full time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm)
  • Permanent position
  • £20,000 – £26,000 per annum DoE + uncapped commission

A dynamic, fast-growing company, led by an experienced and renowned industry professional, is seeking a Sales Advisor to join the team. We are a friendly, growing team with a strong focus on environmentally sound, sustainable practices. We supply soils, aggregates, and waste management solutions to a network of landscape and construction clients across the South East and nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every client feels valued and supported
  • Manage quotes and orders from enquiry to delivery over phone and email
  • Offer quotations based on client specifications and requirements
  • Advise clients on product options, availability, and suitability, always with a sustainable focus
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues through various channels
  • Bring in new business, managing new client accounts
  • Work alongside the marketing team to push new revenue streams and products

  • Basic salary with uncapped commission, allowing the successful candidate to earn multiple times the basic wage offered

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in customer service and sales
  • Knowledge of landscape or construction materials is beneficial, but not essential
  • Comfortable engaging with construction buyers, site managers, and building professionals
  • Ability to work independently within company guidelines and collaborate with the team
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to juggle tasks in a busy environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent decision-making skills
  • An interest in sustainability and environmentally conscious practices is a plus
