You know how to price a project. But do you want more say in what happens next?

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technical Estimator who wants more ownership, more client involvement and the chance to see their work turn into real projects.

At Decrobond, you won't just produce a quote and pass it on. You'll follow it up, speak to the client, negotiate the deal, get the project set up properly and stay involved through to delivery.

It's a varied, commercially focused role where your technical knowledge, judgement and ideas will be valued.

What you'll be doing.

Decrobond manufactures specialist timber fire doors, doorsets and bespoke commercial interior products, so this is proper technical estimating - not picking products from a list and adding up the numbers.

You'll review drawings and specifications, understand technical and compliance requirements, build detailed quotations and then take the opportunity forward.

You'll follow up with clients, answer questions, negotiate, secure orders and make sure each successful project is properly set up and managed through to delivery.

What we're looking for.

Fire door or doorset experience would be ideal, but it's not essential.

We're equally interested in people from technical construction environments such as commercial furniture, kitchens, architectural joinery, fit-out or interiors.

You'll need to be technically strong, commercially switched on and meticulous with detail and compliance. Most importantly, you'll enjoy taking ownership rather than simply sending out quotes.
