Sales Executive Apprentice
Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week (including 7.5 hours per week apprenticeship)
  • 24-month contract (including 18-month apprenticeship)
  • £18,000 per annum + uncapped commission (with salary increase after year one)

The Role

Looking to break into B2B sales? Join us as a Sales Executive Apprentice and receive expert training from our in-house sales team and an external provider (MTD Training). You’ll gain an industry-recognised Level 4 qualification and develop essential skills to excel in tech sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation via networking, canvassing, social media & scheduled calls
  • Customer demonstrations and online meetings
  • Sales planning and strategy development
  • Following up leads and closing business
  • Collaborating with internal teams across departments
  • Handling objections and using effective questioning techniques
  • Building your personal and professional development through structured training

The Ideal Candidate

You’re ready to thrive in a supportive sales environment. You want to learn, grow, and kickstart a rewarding career in technology sales. About you:

  • Confident, well-organised, and proactive
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills
  • Resilient, enthusiastic, and driven to succeed
  • Open to learning from experienced mentors and applying feedback
  • Tech-curious and keen to understand how technology improves businesses

Desirable:

  • GCSEs including a minimum grade 4 in Maths and English (A-Levels preferred)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role (ideal but not essential)
  • No prior B2B sales experience required
