FC Lane Electronics is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Order Processor to join a friendly team in Horsham.

Sales Order Processor
Slinfold, Horsham, West Sussex

  • £23,000 - £25,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits
  • Full time, permanent position
  • Monday – Friday 38.25 hours per week
  • 8:30 am – 5:15 pm Monday – Thursday and 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Fridays (45 mins lunch)

The Sales Order Processor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes within the Company’s busy Sales Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming sales orders per Company quality procedures
  • Obtain price and availability assurance from suppliers if required
  • Understand and adhere to customer terms and conditions
  • Verify accuracy of customer delivery/invoice address
  • Confirm part numbers and prices match Company computer system data
  • Check stock availability and select accurate delivery dates
  • Print customer acknowledgments
  • Compare data from order confirmation with computer system
  • Make amendments to sales orders as needed
  • Manage workload to clear orders daily wherever possible
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed to ensure adequate staffing in the department

Our Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in sales order inputting preferred, although, to be considered for this position, you must have the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literacy required for accessing Company systems and efficient, accurate work
  • Capable of working to deadlines, with strong verbal communication skills across all levels
  • Good organisational skills and adaptability to change
  • Initiative in problem-solving, combined with a methodical approach to tasks
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
