The Role

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier commercial security installations and services. You will lead on programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and mentoring while ensuring compliance with NSI Gold (NACOSS) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside installation and service engineers to program and commission high-end commercial security systems
Assist engineers with fault finding and programming issues
Support the management team with security system designs throughout the design and construction phases
Oversee the installation, integration, commissioning, and maintenance handovers of security systems
Conduct site visits, audits, and quality control checks
Provide cross-division support between projects and service teams
Mentor and upskill junior engineers with on-site training
Uphold company policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

A hands-on, driven professional with a passion for security systems and problem-solving. About you:

Expertise in enterprise security systems (Gallagher, Salto, Avigilon)
Strong IP networking and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control (NACOSS standards)
SMART building integration experience
5+ years in a similar role
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Valid UK driving licence

Nice-to-Have:

ECS Card | SSSTS Certification | IRS & network infrastructure experience
