The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Physics to join our collaborative and professional Science department. You’ll be part of a school that values both academic excellence and personal growth!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Physics across KS3 and KS4
Prepare and potentially teach A-Level Physics
Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Support pupils of all abilities, including SEN, EAL, and G&T
Participate in the school’s co-curricular programme (minimum two activities)
Uphold high standards of behaviour and pastoral care
Embrace and integrate digital technologies in teaching and learning
Engage fully in the broader life of the school

QTS with relevant subject specialism
Strong subject knowledge in Physics
Experience teaching Physics at KS3–KS4 (A-Level desirable)
Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Ability to plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons
A team player who is fully involved in school life
Empathy, kindness, and strong communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Willingness to embrace the school’s core values
