Trainee Data Cable Installer
UK-wide – travel and overnight stays are required

  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • £25,500 - £28,000 dependent on experience

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant or Trainee Data Cable Installer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field, working alongside an experienced installer on data cabling and AV installation projects primarily in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation of structured data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fibre etc.)
  • Support AV equipment installations
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
  • Follow instructions and learn industry best practices
  • Travel across the UK and stay overnight when required

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
  • Must be flexible with travel and overnight stays
