Trainee Drainage Engineer
Doncaster, DN5 – Must live within a 15-mile radius

Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with potential overtime at enhanced rates)

Salary from £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Trainee Drainage Engineer and develop your skills on the job with full support. You’ll work as part of a two-person team, primarily conducting CCTV surveys to understand and assess drainage systems on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct CCTV drainage surveys on-site as directed by the operations team
Perform manual labour tasks related to drainage systems
Deliver high-quality workmanship to meet customer satisfaction
Maintain and use all equipment safely and responsibly
Assist in ensuring all job documentation is completed accurately
Attend client site visits and communicate effectively to discuss requirements
Develop drainage knowledge proactively and participate in all training provided
Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email when necessary
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and skilled team

The Ideal Candidate

Manual labour experience preferred
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work
Positive attitude and a proactive mindset
Team player who can also work independently
Full UK driving licence (required)
CSCS card (preferred) or willingness to obtain one after hire
Lives within a 15-mile radius of Doncaster
