Trainee Engineer
Within 5 miles of FY1 5QQ – with national travel

Full time, permanent (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm)
£30,000 OTE (with overtime)

The Role

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with basic IT knowledge and hands-on skills who’s eager to learn and develop a career in engineering. You’ll work closely with a Senior Engineer who will mentor you through all aspects of installation and service work, no two days will be the same!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Lead Engineer with installations and service work as directed by the Project Manager
Learn and develop skills to eventually manage tasks independently
Use IT knowledge to support installations and service calls
Maintain awareness of health & safety standards at all times
Accurately complete documentation and job records

£30,000 On Target Earnings (including overtime)
Overtime pay: Time and a half (Saturdays) & double time (Sundays)

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with a hands-on approach, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude. No previous engineering experience is required, just the right mindset and enthusiasm to grow in the role. About you:

Some IT knowledge and confidence using tech
Enthusiasm to learn and take on new challenges daily
Good practical skills and ability to use basic hand tools
Full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
Awareness of Health & Safety (full training provided)
Comfortable with working at heights (full training provided)
