The Role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to manage our Aylesford depot transport operations. This key role involves overseeing a fleet of 14-18 vehicles, leading the transport team, and ensuring on-time, undamaged deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of drivers.
Oversee efficient route planning to achieve timely deliveries.
Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance.
Communicate effectively with internal departments, external suppliers, and partners.
Ensure fragile bathroom goods are correctly loaded and safely transported.
Identify and implement improvements to transport operations.
Uphold the company’s commitment to reliable, next-day delivery services.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a strong communicator and decisive leader with proven experience in transport operations. About you:

Previous experience in a Transport Co-ordinator or similar role.
Strong route planning and vehicle maintenance supervision skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
A focus on efficiency, accuracy, and timely service.
Own transportation due to limited public transport links.
