Warehouse Operative - Equipment Specialist

Full-Time | Permanent | Salary starting from £25,725 + Overtime

Wetherby, Leeds

About the role

Join a fast-moving equipment rental and logistics company as a dedicated Warehouse Operative. You’ll handle high-value technical equipment every day, receiving, logging, picking, packing, and quality-checking stock so it reaches customers on time and in perfect condition. Key responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect & log incoming technical equipment with complete accuracy

  • Prepare outgoing equipment for projects (picking, packing, quality control)

  • Keep the warehouse organised, tidy, and efficient at all times

  • Perform basic maintenance and testing of equipment when required

  • Collaborate with project managers and technicians to meet tight dispatch and return deadlines

  • Follow all company health & safety regulations to protect staff and stock

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally with technical or sensitive equipment

  • A sharp eye for accuracy, detail, and inventory control

  • Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items safely

  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive with excellent organisational skills

  • A true team player who can also work independently

  • Basic computer literacy for logging and tracking stock
