37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Fixed term contract (12 months)
£26,409 - £28,163 per year

The Role

This role is a vital part of our team, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering Safe & Well visits, providing fire safety advice, and fitting safety equipment. You will play an important part in keeping our community safe and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Safe & Well visits, making referrals to other organisations as necessary.
Provide clear and detailed safety advice to households.
Research and check information using databases (e.g., CFRMIS).
Install and securely fit safety equipment, such as smoke alarms and safety adaptations.
Liaise with partner organisations and the Prevention department to support vulnerable individuals.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the community and has a strong background in safety, wellbeing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience working with the public and partner organisations.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in using tools and fitting household safety equipment to a high standard.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A full UK driving license with the willingness to travel across Nottinghamshire.
An understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable communities.
